Mom and dad visited Dr. Villanueva today as their 2nd clinic appointment. Mom and I need to be checked whether everything is doing fine.
The doctor initially examined me by using a small doppler ultrasound device in order to locate my heart tone. She found it quickly and was surprised by how loud my heartbeat is registering in the machine. She said my heartbeat was too loud for my age. Ugh. I really tried my best to be heard!
Mom was then subjected to a hepatitis screening test where a sample of her blood was taken. In a few minutes, the result came out as negative. Whew!
The last test was an ultrasound with the big screen. The Radiology doctor saw some small bleeds from inside and that the placenta was low-lying. This sounded serious to my parents so they immediately brought the result to Dra. Villanueva, who then suggested to mom that she gets a month rest from work.
Whoa! I think mom and I really need a lot of rest for me to be able to survive. I’m feeling sad that mom has to really make some extra effort in order for me to be healthy. I need all your prayers…
