Last Wednesday, Mom and I went to Dr. Yanga’s Colleges to visit one of Dad’s greatest influences - Professor Jovita Orara, or simply called by dad as Ma’am O. She was Dad’s English professor in college, and now considered by Dad as his second mother and dear friend.

As I was hugged and kissed by Ma’am O, I felt the warm welcome to be part of a unique friendship that was tested by time and distance.

Thanks Ma’am O for helping Dad finish his studies, and for giving him lots of life lessons he can use to make me, his own son, become a man full of wisdom. Godspeed!

Ninang Karen did not make it during my Christening Day because she was working in Abu Dhabi and was not on vacation like the rest of Dad’s UAE friends who made it last February. Today, she is making up… she handed to my Dada her gift for me! My first gold necklace with a cross pendant! I can’t wait to wear it! Thanks po!

Ninang Karen is an Emergency Room Nurse, dad’s batchmate and good friend.

I am 10 months old today! Two more months and I’ll be a year old! Happy Birthday to me!

Dada attended the International Nurses Day Celebration Ball last 15 May 09 held at the Hilton Hotel in Al Ain. With him are my Ninongs Roger and Remyr, and my Ninangs Karen and Laarni. Belated happy nurses day po and see you all very soon!

This greeting also goes to my other nurse godparents across the globe namely, Ninang Chiqui (US), Ninang Leizl (Canada), Ninong Rogelio (Riyadh), Ninong Miller (UAE), Ninang Eden (UAE), Ninong Jing (EMMAUS,Bulacan), Ninong Meng (Pascual Laboratories,Bulacan), Ninong Rymcon (Bulacan Provincial Hospital, Bulacan), Ninang Allyn (Philamlife, Bulacan), Ninong Nampi (Dr. Yanga’s Hospital, Bulacan) and Ninong Frincks (The Medical City, Pasig City).

Wow, I realized that I got so many godparents who are nurses by profession! Good luck po sa career!

Last Thursday night, Dad attended Kuya Ieuan’s first birthday at Al Barjeel Restaurant in Al Ain City, Abu Dhabi. He is the second son of Tito Ian and Tita Jhoanna.

By next week, a lot of people will be greeting you a “happy mother’s day.” But I am sure you’ll love to hear it more from the people who are the reasons of your being a mother - me and Dada! We love you so much mom and we thank God for giving you to us. We’d be lost and lonely without you. You are a special gift and we wouldn’t want to be part of no other.
